From Rio to Pantanal
by Juliana Lanzotti
“Glowing oceans, beautiful men and women,
historic neighborhoods
and museums, together with rich sounds of Samba
and a thriving nightlife have all come to give
Rio de Janeiro
its
status as one of the most impressive cities on the planet.
An additional large city, Sao Paulo, has long
been
the
commercial and business capital of Brazil.
There are several fascinating points of
interest in Sao Paulo
for the
traveler to check out.
The Iguassu Falls and National Park
provide the vacationer an experience with
nature.
Discover one of the earth’s greatest waterfalls
by walking or via boat
which
gives you a view of the water falling from below.
The Amazon jungle accommodates essentially
the most diverse selection of animals and
plants on the planet,
that contains 10% of the worlds species
and 20%
of all higher plant and bird species.
The Amazon also includes inside its waters
approximately two thousand varieties of fish.
It extends throughout 2.3 million square miles,
making it also
the
greatest tropical rainforest on the planet, spanning across 9 countries.
The Pantanal!
Nearly ten times the size of the Everglades
and the
planet’s greatest freshwater wetland,
it is also among the planet’s most lively
habitats.
Unlike in the Amazon, where the wildlife are
hidden out of view,
here in
the pantanal, the wetland bursts with amazing wildlife.
The town of Salvador and the district of Bahia
are some
of the most fascinating highlights of Brazil.
Here, a
bright colored, historical city is placed
near miles of stunning beaches and coastline.
Further north, the city of Recife and the
Northeastern coastline of Brazil
are getaways which have very much to provide
the tourist.
Never-ending beaches, Brazilian tradition,
people, and foods are
just some of the attractions of your visit.
Another northeast city, Fortaleza,
is
bustling with spirit and is a entrance to miles
and miles of beaches.
Mix the metropolitan, colourful city feel, with
the best urban beaches,
and toss in some calm villages for a total
experience in Fortaleza.
The island town of Florianopolis or also called
Floripa
is a
quick trip South of Sao Paulo and is a gorgeous beach destination
to chill
for several days in a rather pleasant environment.
There is also quite a bit of culture here,
combined with the sights
of the
sand dunes encroaching on the beaches."
